More sad news today. A true pioneer, Heavy D, has passed away at the age of 44. The New York emcee was the leader of the Heavy D & The Boyz, known for hits like “Now That We Found Love” & ”The Overweight Lover”. Just last month, Heavy D performed at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards… R.I.P. Heavy D!
