After a long hiatus, Recycled Funk returns with a dose of cinematic, soundtrack funk. After a recent movie binge, which included watching Pulp Fiction for probably the 10th time, the idea for this mix came to fruition. There are so many incredible funk tunes that have been created for the big screen, and there are tunes that just fit that vibe. This mix barely scratches the surface, but it features some of my favorite cinematic-style funk. From legends like Marvin Gaye, to Curtis Mayfield, to Barry White.
