Our homie DJ Still Life just dropped a real gem. It’s his first original production (as in not another one of his amazing remixes or mixtapes, etc.) that he unleashes: “Zaibatsu” has a sort of Brainfeeder feel to it, with it’s hypnotizing melodic beginning, he hard-hitting drums and space invader sounds sprinkled throughout. And this isn’t a cut and paste job from some vintage sample cds either, Still Life plays the live drums on this one. Stream/Download below:
