So Heidi Vogel starts off the show in super deep Brazilian jazz style with a little taste of her forthcoming album coming on Far Out. Mo Kolours then laid down the down and dirty vibes with the sleazy, tropical delights of “Bomptious” which led nicely into the beats and big band jazz fusion of Mark De Clive-Lowe and a whole heap of Dutch jazz musicians. Then came a taste of blog, Moovmnt’s, debut release as they take the leap from the written word to the musical note in fine style with an album of deep soul, jazz vibes courtesy of Vincent Helbers aka Flowriders and now aka Seravince.

Heidi Vogel then returned with Jason Swinscoe’s take on the show’s opening track “Black Narcissus” and what a frankly, ridiculously good, remix it is as well with the Cinematics man taking the tune on a trip into big bassline, big screen, epic, dancefloor destroying territory – inspired. Haitus Kaiyote then brought the show down into deep future soul, but all too shorth, territory before the mysterious Lady threw down some damn nice, modern, feelgood soul. Modern boogie was then the order of the day with Juan Laya and Jorge Montiel and their future classic, “It’s Got To Be Music” which nicely paved the way for some modern boogie beats from Hint.

Dobie, as is usually his want, got nasty on the sound system with his new single to promote his new album, “She’s Stopped Now”. Bandshell then took the show into deep house with a twist territory which led nicely into the unmastered, but full of soul, joys of “Detroitus” from the promising Boneshaker. Back in the day house vibes were then provided courtesy of DJ Deep’s great new compilation and the not often heard “Karn Evil #10” which is just one of a whole raft of back in the day classics that Deep seems to have in endless numbers. The show was then brought back screaming into 2013 with the footwork soul sounds of Coco Bryce and “Club Tropicana”.
