Fresh Taste #65

Start listening

It seems like the attention span of people is at an all-time low. With the abundance of music and the easy access to it, most people are really quick on the trigger when it’s time to skip a song. I often see young people in public transportation on my way to work, listening to a track and then switching to the next not even one minute in.

It’s funny to me, if you “like” a tune, how come you can’t listen to it in it’s entirety? I’m the total opposite. I love reggae tracks with the long dub attached to it, those soul slow burners that seems to run forever or a 15 minute afrobeat jam that makes you dance non-stop.

This edition of Fresh Taste is full of songs clocking in between 5 to 10 minutes. That’s why I had to bust the regular 2 hour mark a little bit. So if you have a short attention span, don’t bother pressing play!

Peace!
