Last but not least and highly recommended > Released earlier in 2013, “La Diferencia” is Rafi El’s unique re-envisioning of the classic South Central LA gangsta anthem, “What’s the Difference” from Dr. Dre’s 2001 album. Dre’s G-Funk brass lines get rebuilt as Mexican banda blasts, Rafi El raps in Spanish over the top, and moombahton beats bounce around like pinballs. It’s the best Dr. Dre homage we’ve ever heard. En serio. No Joke.
