Phony Ppl are a visionary young band of rapper/singers, producers and musicians that are on the cutting edge of New York hip-hop’s current renaissance. Fronted by co-founder Elbee Thrie, rapper/singer Dyme-A-Duzin and MC Sheriff PJ, they’ve been recording out of a basement in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn since high school (Edward R. Murrow HS, with fellow alum and longtime fan Joey Bada$$).
Over the past year they dropped two projects, “Phonyland” and “Nothing Special” to industry acclaim. Now we’ve finally got new material from the Phony Ppl!
