This third album from the great late legendary Heavy D was very representative of the different urban sounds of the very early 90’s, featuring New Jack Swing, Club and Boom Bap elements in a very strong and cohesive fashion. The cover of “Now That We Found Love” quickly became a worldwide hit, “Is It Good To You” was some supreme New Jack magic while “Don’t Curse” had that fat funky street appeal. The production behind the project was handled by a dream team composed of DJ Eddie F, Teddy Riley, Marley Marl, Howie Tee and Pete Rock. This album is also the first of the crew without Trouble T Roy, who tragically and accidentally past away in 1990. A very strong release in the impressive Hevster discography!
