#30thAnniversary – Funkdoobiest “Which Doobie U B?”

Jason “Son Doobie” Vasquez, Tyrone “Tomahawk Funk” Pacheco and DJ Ralph “Tha Phunky Mexican” Medrano aka Funkdoobiest released their first album via Epic Records in 1993. Coming out of the Soul Assassins collective, with production from DJ Muggs and a feature from B. Real, it is no surprise the sound of this Latin group is really close to what Cypress Hill was delivering at the time. Don’t search for fancy hooks or revolutionary beats, only dope rhymes and funky rhythms!

Dig in the samples used to create that album on whosampled.com.
