In support of this competition, it’s our pleasure to announce our collabo mixtape with adidas Originals and The Rub. DJ Ayres & DJ Eleven took some time out of their busy schedule to dig in their hip hop crates from 2012/2013 and curate a 60min mix of Future Classics: Hip Hop from the past two years that we believe will stand the test of time and still be talked about in the years to come.
So, it’s not an official continuation of The Rub’s History of Hip Hop series, which many of you have been asking for a lot in recent years, but it should satisfy your yearning for dope beats and raps from recent years…
We’d like to thank Adidas Originals for hooking up with us and making this happen. Adidas has been an integral part of Hip Hop since Run DMC and is deeply intertwined with our Brooklyn Nets, so to have them work with us on this project was a dream come true for us. One love!
