Damn, that’s a good one! The new 7″ by Benjamin is probably the best release of the year in the soul category. The A side is a mid-tempo infectious funky gem that will instantly get you moving or at least taping your feet. My favorite one is definitely the B-Side, a crazy “steppers” anthem I fell in love with the first time I heard it on the legendary We Funk radio show a couple of months ago (checkout show 801) when Shred One, Cherries records co-founder, did a special guest mix on air. After months of research, it’s finally available for my great pleasure…and yours! The type of track you want to play at the end of a party to close things off with style or as they say “when it’s the lovers’ turn to take over the dancefloor”.
