Hip-hop fans rejoice – a new Lando Chill album can be yours tomorrow, October 12. Black Ego is the artist’s third album with Mello Music Group and features the same experimental sound and lush production from producer The Lasso, which Lando Chill followers have come to know and love. Those unfamiliar with the duo’s catalog can expect some West Coast flava mixed with some smooth trip-hop vibes.
Lando Chill has been referred to as “one of the more unique artists we have this generation, never afraid to take risks and open himself up to the listener” by Tiny Mix Tapes, and Dead End Hip Hop think that “Chill and returning producer/multi-instrumentalist Lasso take a quantum leap forward, arguably bringing the alternative hip-hop paradigm along for the ride.” If that doesn’t pique your interest and at least influence you to check out the new album, maybe you shouldn’t still be reading this.
