Sound oscillators can be squares, sines or triangles. Why not something like a hexagon? French musician M.A BEAT! tried to imagine how would sound different shapes on his second EP “Pushing Forms”.
Idols is an almost fully sample-based track. From the synth-bass to the R’n’B voices, it is an exploration of the samples’ possibilities. The main texture is a 1/32 repeat sample as if the record was broken.
