50 Cent “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’” – Best rap album of that year and without question it was the record that really put New York back on after a very long lull. It created not just a superstar but also an industry in 50. Even if never replicates this he’ll still have this as his legacy (although I think he’s got one classic album left in him, 12 tracks, limited guests and producers, word to Noah Callahan-Bever, nahmean?)
