Back to the regular program, this time the mix is centered around a lovely track from the legendary Mtume titled “Love Lock”. From cover versions by Flora Purim, Butcher Brown & KAYTRANADA to Hip Hop flip by DJ Honda remixing a Da Brat classic or a DnB cut by DJ Marky & Makoto, you got the full spectrum of what a beautiful composition can become in the mind of other geniuses.
Big shoutout to the good folks of www.whosampled.com! This mix would not exist without their incredible website.
