Is this a sign that a full-on reunion in the works? What do you think?

Following up his 2009 solo release of “I Ain’t Goin’ Back to Retail!”, MaG returns to the booth with “freedom.”. Featuring guest appearances from Arthur Lewis, Tre DeJean and Archie Green, and production credits from the likes of Astronote, Kuddie Fresh, Chanes, and Ta-Ku, amongst others.
Hailing from NYC, MaG is an hip-hop artist who set out to deliver a really personal take on his music, balancing a sharp lyrical flow and unpredictable melodies in equal doses, blinking an eye to the old school, yet keeping his sound modern and refreshing. After releasing his mix-tape “Reaganomics”, the word started spreading quickly within the scene and the online hip hop community as Mag was featured in some of the best-known media covering the genre. More releases and awards followed shortly after, giving more and more strength to his growing reputation. Mag keeps feeding his success track by track, as his perfectly balanced mix of searing lyrics, melody and tight beats, crafting powerful tracks enriched by a really attentive and detailed production work.

BTS Radio curated a new project around one of their favourite artists, S.Maharba. Remixers on this release include: Mike Slott, Mono/Poly, Shigeto, Sweatson Klank, The Clonious, Co.Fee, Dibiase, Pyramid Juke and Young Montana. Exile and his Dirty Science collective present his “Cassette” Mixtape featuring exclusive songs from Exile’s vaults (1996-2009) and music that did not make it on his rap album “4TRK MIND” as well as demo versions from Blu & Exile and Emanon (Aloe Blacc & Exile). Well, your Tuesday night just got a little better. Lunice put together an hour-long mix for BBC 1Xtra. Featuring everything from popular hip-hop to trap beats to Lunice’s own trademark concoctions, this mix picks up the energy from the start and doesn’t let go. Just when you think Lunice completely murdered it, he drops the TNGHT remix of “Clique” at around the 56-minute mark. Game over.
BRZZVLL keep on tripping. “Polemicals” is taking the psychedelic jazz groove that the six piece band from Antwerp, Belgium is known for to the next level. It is still impossible to find the right box for BRZZVLL though. Jazz is the teacher but band leader Vincent Brijs and crew couldn’t care less about rules and regulations. From the epic, arabic flavoured opener “Jericho” to the sweet and deep ballad “Reino Dos Céus” BRZZVLL simply do what they want. Most times you can dance too to it and all the time you can trip with it.
Compared to their 2010 album “Happy Live Creator” (produced by Ben Ladmin aka Nostalgia 77) the new BRZZVLL album has more of a live feel. Which is owed to the fact that “Polemicals” has been recorded at the Kip Kaas studio, owned by the band’s keyboarder Jan Willems in Mortsel and produced by the band itself. In that aspect, “Polemicals” captures the sensational live performances better than any BRZZVLL record before.
The new album Polemicals will be out on Feb 22. Here’s the tracklist:
1. Jericho 08:15
2 Ageing Pains 06:17
3. The Gathering of the Manna 04:26
4. Reino Dos Céus 08:59
5. Polemicals 06:00
6. Kevin 05:07
7. Crystal Palace 04:57
8. Gagball (Bonus track) 04:22
