Tour De Force - Pool Party (Feat. Jahdan Blakkamoore)
Coming straight out of New York’s latest heat wave is the debut release from Brooklyn-based production duo Tour De Force (TDF). Pool Party is TDF’s tribute to the quintessential digital dancehall riddim—King Jammy’s classic Sleng Teng—revamped to include elements of contemporary dub and bass music. Featuring vocals by Jahdan Blakkamoore, the Sound Systeminspired mashup tune exemplifies TDF’s versatile production style.
Pool Party is an innovative take on a classic, with vibes intense enough to capture the raw energy of summer in Brooklyn. And the best thing it’s available for free download courtesy on DubStuy Records.
