Substantial & The Other Guys “The past…” + Substantial & Algorythm “Always”
Brilliant EP’s on HiPNOTT Records from A1 lyricist Substantial, with the help of Maryland compatriots “The Other Guys” on “The past…” and one half of The Stuyvesants “Algorythm” behind the boards for “Always”. This indie emcee is well known for his collaborations with two of the greatest beatmakers of the last 20 years, Nujabes (The track “No turning back” is dedicated to the deceased producer) and Mello Music Group’s Oddisee who executive produced his 2012 album “Home is where the art is“.
A real busy second half of the year is in front of him with another EP and a full album on the way before the end of 2015. Visit his website iamsubstantial.com and follow him on your favorite social media network to stay updated. You can buy the new projects on the bandcamp page for five little dollars each, including a bonus demo from 1999 as a gift to say thanks with the first one!
