Finding a proper mix for the Batty Rider riddim proved a bit harder then we imagined. The one above is mixed uptempo – we def prefer the original slower version, but what can you do… Enjoy! By the way – batty rider is not only one hell of a riddim, but also the name for small & tight female shorts, which show a womans butt cheeks (batty). So let’s look at some batty riders shaking it in Buju’s video, shall we?

Rotten Rich is a Main Street riddim courtesy of Danny Brownie, who had many strong ragga riddims during 1997. Red Rat has two cuts on this riddim, which is using the same bassline a lot of people will recognize from Reel2Real’s Euro Dance Smasher “I like to move it” . “Cruise” is one of the better known versions for sure.

Tracklist:

General Degree – Boom Boom
Captain Barkey – Please (Let Me Put It In)
Lady G – Man A Bad Man
Buccaneer – She’s Nobody
Crissy D – Hot Gyal
Red Rat / Goofy – Cruise
Hawkeye – Arrest Mi Officer
Red Rat – Wrigleys
Angel Doolas – Tight Zum Zum
Goofy – I Don’t Give A Damn

Absolutley ridiculous Vampire-style tune by Captain Barkey over the riddim called Splash. Hard to find a good mix video for this one, since there’s a newer riddim also called Splash, which litters all the search results. Let us know if you find a better mix out there, bc this short 3-track mix doesn’t do this riddim justice, when people like Lady Saw, Richie Stephens, Red Rat & Mr. Vegas also spit over it.

Tracklist:

Captain Barkey – Di Count
Skatta – Mad Dem
General Degree – Run Him Like Goat
