A-Villa: The Warrior, The Philosopher, & The Rebel

Chicago-based producer, A-Villa’s first release Carry On Tradition isn’t due to drop until September 23 on Closed Sessions, but you can have early access to his single “The Warrior, The Philosopher & The Rebel” here. The former bank VP was inspired to make his own beats after the death of Gang Starr’s Guru in 2010, and it wasn’t long before hip-hop bigwigs like Rapper Big Pooh (of Little Brother) took notice. The album will feature guest appearances from Big K.R.I.T., Action Bronson, Kool G Rap, Joell Ortiz, Freeway, N.O.R.E., AZ, Havoc, and many more.
