#30thAnniversary – Ice-T ‎”O.G. Original Gangster”

On this 4th album, Ice-T was coming mad strong into the nineties. Being around on the scene since the early 80’s, he absolutely adjusted himself to the changing Hip Hop world of the time and he simply released one of the best sonic assault of that era. The production, mostly handled by DJ Aladdin, Africa Islam and SLJ, was impeccable. Intense, robust, fat, funky as hell, this somehow was reminiscent of Public Enemy finest moments. Ice-T flow is totally commanding you to listen carefully to each and single words he had to say. 30 years later, this sounds as strong as when it was first released. There was even a VHS version of the LP with a video for the 24 songs (Watch it below). If you’re not familiar with this one or kinda forget about it, give it a spin, you’ll be surprised!!!
