A month or two back The Rub took part in this New York Magazine piece where they asked a bunch of New York DJs to name NY songs since 2000 that they love and that kill it in the club. It was really fun to come up with the list and we thought it would be awesome to do a Rub mix based on that idea. We asked Piotr Orlov (who wrote the article) permission, and he said he loved the idea. So here is a mix of some of our favorite NYC club anthems of the millennium so far: house, dancehall, disco, rock and hip-hop smoothed out with a R&B feel appeal to it. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll press rewind.
