The third single from the Brown Sugar album by D’Angelo was another masterpiece of smooth R&B laced with a hip-hop edge. There weren’t as many remixes this time, but they were just as dope, featuring a verse from AZ, one of the great MCs of the ’90s, and production from the one and only DJ Premier.
