For the past decade, I’ve found myself repeatedly drawn to the COLORS channel on YouTube. Nearly every artist I love, or newly discover, has stepped onto that iconic stage. There’s something incomparable about the way COLORS presents music. The artist stands alone, free of distractions, fully exposed, with pristine vocal quality that feels almost intimate. It’s a setting that demands presence. With nothing to hide behind, artists arrive in their boldest styles and deliver some of their most unforgettable vocal performances.
To celebrate the platform’s 10th anniversary, I’ve curated a selection of my 100 favorite performances from its rich catalogue. Many of these artists have appeared over the years in the Fresh Taste mix series, but revisiting them through their COLORS sessions offers a different listening experience.
