#30thAnniversary – MC Solaar “Qui sème le vent récolte le tempo”

Proof that Hip Hop was officially well established on the other side of the Atlantic, the debut album from MC Solaar “Qui sème le vent récolte le tempo” is one of the best french rap albums of all time. The production from Jimmy Jay was very influenced by what was created in the States in 1991, with many American Jazz and Soul samples, but with a little acid jazz twist that perfectly complements the impeccable smooth flow of Solaar. Switching cadence with ease while demonstrating an unmatched penmanship, this first LP forged his place in the top echelons of the french rap world for years to come.

This album was not available for a long time in any format because of a lengthy dispute with Polydor, but thanks to a recent agreement, you can stream the record on your favorite platform and even buy it on vinyl.
