#30thAnniversary – Kool G Rap & DJ Polo “Live and Let Die”

Kool G Rap’s third album and last one with DJ Polo “Live and Let Die” is often overlooked but arguably the best of his discography. A trip to the west coast to link with Sir Jinx, mostly known as the producer behind some of the greatest Ice Cube cuts of the early 90’s, gave the dense sound to this LP, an organized chaos perfect for G Rap’s tales of the street. Only three tracks were handled by The Trackmasters, but one of them, that came out as the first single, became an absolute classic, the impeccable “Ill Street Blues”.

This album is not available on streaming platforms, but you can still listen to it on YouTube below, as well as watch the videos and more goodies related to this project.
