This is the official music video for “Cyanide”, Notic Nastic’s track taken from their new album FULLSCREEN which was released October 21. 2011. The rationale behind the video goes like this:
the “cyanide” video shows the fight within oneself battling the confinements of societal structures, which are often determined by mass media. the pyramid symbolically represents this entrapment. a fight is going on between the two sides of a person, between good an evil, between one’s true self and the persona that is expected of them from the outside world.
finally, the break-out occurs, destroying the pyramid and removing the mask to see the world in fullscreen, to rid oneself of predefined boundaries.
