Building his career in radio, J Boogie was a volunteer on air at KUSF for over 20 years, starting back in ’91 as an intern for Billy Jam’s Hip Hop Slam, then producing 2 shows a week on air. During prime time, you could hear him Friday afternoons for new music programming, or Sunday nights on Beatsauce, San Francisco’s award winning “Best Hip Hop Show” (SF Bay Guardian) with Raw B and DJ Wisdom.
