#30thAnniversary – 2Pac “2Pacalypse Now”

After starting his career as a dancer for Digital Underground (RIP Shock G) and landing a couple of verses for the same group on tracks like “Same Song” and “The DFLO Shuffle“, 2Pac was ready to drop his debut album “2Pacalypse Now”. Even more political and far from all the beef that happened during the Death Row days, Pac delivered a solid effort that shows the immense potential he had behind the mic. The incredible storytelling of tracks like “Brenda’s got a baby” or “Soulja’s Story” is proof. The production on the LP is honestly not on the level of what would come later, but the record is still a must for any 2Pac fanatic.
